Il progetto Art Of Drone vede la luce nel 2009 tra le nebbie dell’inverno milanese. Influenzati dal decadentismo di inizio millennio, i tre iniziano a dar vita ad una creatura musicale “malata” di suggestioni dark, poetica grunge e sonorità post-metal.
Con queste premesse prende forma “MAGNETIC FIELDS FOREVER”, una raccolta di brani in cui è forte la presenza del rock alternativo degli anni ’90, ma dove convivono in simbiosi momenti acustici dal sapore zeppeliniano, cupe ballate post-grunge e una vena stoner che emerge al meglio in “Only Falling”, brano qui proposto in una versione live come manifesto dell’essenzialità del trio.

2009: Art of Drone forms in Milan. Heavily influenced by the decadent scenario of the new millennium, the band starts creating a sound that combines psychedelic-dark, stoner and post-grunge elements.
2011: “MAGNETIC FIELDS FOREVER” is their first work. An inspired piece of art where alternative-rock, Zeppelin-like acoustic inserts and post-grunge ballads match with a heavier stoner influence. “Only Falling”, here as a live version, is an example of how a minimalist 3 piece-band can sound rich and full through articulate passages, melodic nuances and abrupt mood changes.
