Cole Porter, like you've never heard it before. "CALL PORTER" is a multi-faceted and brilliantly coloured mosaic of unusual arrangements of Cole Porter's masterpieces, based on Jazz, Rock, Pop, Progressive, Chill Out, Electro-Punk, Mersey Beat, Metal and various experimental stuff, including pills of contemporary music.

Lica Cecato's voice fits great everywhere, and Paolo Baltaro's arrangements give to the songs a new look. Nearly every song is an exhaustive medley of Porter's masterpieces and other smaller movements, most of them written by Paolo and other members of the group. There are many guests on this record: Garrison Fewell, Pier Michelatti, Alo Sogno, Enrico Caruso, Ruggero Pari, Fabio Gurian, Gabriel Delta, Sandro Marinoni, Vassilia Chachlakis.

The Paolo Baltaro Orchestra is formed by Luca Donini on sax, Andrea Beccaro on drums, Gabriele Ferro on guitar, and Paolo itself on bass, samplers, guitar, and piano.

Cole Porter come non lo avete mai sentito. "CALL PORTER" e' un audace mosaico di inaspettati arrangiamenti dei capolavori di Cole Porter di stile Jazz, Rock progressivo, Pop, Chill Out, Electro-Punk, Mersy Beat, Musica sperimentale e pillole di musica classica contemporanea.

La voce di Lica Cecato si adatta alla perfezione alle diverse situazioni e gli arrangiamenti di Paolo Baltaro conferiscono ai brani un aspetto totalmente nuovo.

Ogni brano e' una piccola suite formata da un brano di Porter e parti complementari, per la maggioranza scritte ad hoc da Paolo e dagli altri membri del gruppo.
