Biography

Musician, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist: a career built across different scenes and musical languages, without belonging to a single genre.

Paolo Baltaro was born in Genoa, Italy. His work crosses rock, progressive music, improvisation, record production, songwriting, music for images and experimentation.

He was singer, bassist and producer with Arcansiel; in 2008 he founded the experimental project S.A.D.O. – Società Anonima Decostruzionismi Organici. He has worked as songwriter, producer, musician and sound engineer with artists from very different musical worlds, always preserving the freedom to move between styles.

As a solo artist he released Low Fare Flight to the Earth, The Day After the Night Before, the soundtrack La Tempête and Live Pillheads. His work also includes music for cinema, theatre, documentaries, television and advertising.

He is the founder of Banksville Records and currently leads the PILLOLE and S.A.D.O. projects, while continuing his activity as songwriter, producer and performer.
