Out: 7/2026

Out July/2026
Recorded live in Vercelli in 2005, the album reinterprets material linked to Maestro Johann Fritz Tannhäuser through a fluid blend of contemporary music, avant-garde jazz, electronics, spoken word, and experimentation. Die wiedergefundenen Meisterwerke

In 2025, S.A.D.O. present Cacofobia, a work based on the songs performed at the Sanremo Festival, reinterpreted through the technique of musical dubbing, which consists of recreating the songs live while listening to them through headphones, transforming them into a deconstructive and avant-garde style. The tracks are framed as an imaginary audio-pharmaceutical created through the Sentential Form, previously used by the group, structured in three stages: song, truth, and sentence, with the final stage representing the “active ingredient” intended to guide the listener toward a supposed healing process.

Tanatofobia
Album

Tanatofobia

The experimental approach of the historic S.A.D.O. (Società Anonima Decostruzionismi Organici) formation continues. The group has always distinguished itself through its aim of exploring new paths beyond any commercial logic. TANATOFOBIA (meaning “fear of death”) is a new album by the group, created in Sentential Form. It is an audio-pharmaceutical work with the artistic purpose of preventing and treating thanatophobia through the listening experience, using the “Sentential” structure.

Album

Musiche per signorine da marito

The album is an experimental project consisting of nine tracks lasting less than eight minutes, conceived to adapt the traditional album format to the listening habits of the digital age. The tracklist is presented twice, in Italian and English, and the album is presented, for artistic purposes only, as an imaginary audio-pharmaceutical for the treatment of narcolepsy and thanatophobia, created in Sentential Form, a three-stage structure consisting of Track, Truth, and Sentence, in which the final message constitutes the "active ingredient" intended to encourage the listener to resist the urge to fall asleep.

Imprescindibile momento di cultura italiana

The S.A.D.O. live album recorded at Officine Sonore in Vercelli offers a radical reinterpretation of Italian music through the group's aesthetics of deconstruction and improvisation inspired by Derrida. Well-known songs are transformed into experimental compositions, accompanied by Giovanni Battista Franco’s theatrical monologues on Benedetto Croce. Blending avant-garde jazz, noise, and sonic exploration, the group creates an intense and visionary performance driven by Boris Savoldelli’s voice and the interaction of the musicians.

Holzwege
Album

Holzwege

Drawing Bretonian inspiration from the phono-acoustic image of Wittgensteinian langue—conceived here as a mere assemblage of syntagms—they juxtapose its propositions with "syllogisms of notes," presenting the musical theme as a pure event: a mechanical and historical synthesis of symbols, atmospheres, and technique, stripped of the syntactic and semantic superstructures and substructures that are conventionally associated with it.

Weathermen Underground
Album

Weathermen Underground

Conceived through the collaboration between S.A.D.O. and the writers Guido Michelone and Franz Krauspenhaar, Weather Underground is a bilingual concept album released as a double CD, featuring 25 tracks interspersed with spoken-word passages in Italian and English. Inspired by the history of the American organization of the same name, the album deliberately avoids ideological judgment, focusing instead on the human dimension of its protagonists through episodes based on real events. Musically, it exemplifies the group's aesthetic of "deconstructive avant-garde," characterized by improvisation, timbral experimentation, and unconventional expressive techniques.

La Differanza
Album

La Differanza

The Creative Commons division of Banksville Records releases the remixed reissue of LA DIFFERANZA to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its original release, in a new version specifically made available for free download. Drawing on Derrida’s concept of deconstruction (the foundation of Deconstructionism), and in particular on the notion of DIFFERANCE (the album’s title), where in French the words difference and differance are pronounced identically while not representing the same “thing,” S.A.D.O. express their concepts through an apparently classical language—the one “equal” to that of free music—yet in a completely non-“equal” way. An identical form for a different meaning: a differance. Featuring Paolo Baltaro, Sandro Marinoni, Diego Marzi, and Boris Savoldelli.
